Are gel kinds nice? or Dr. soles? I don't want to feel the floor at all.

Try the 'good feet' store.

Some of this depends on your shoes, the size of your feet vs your weight, any abnormalities, and the conditions you work in.

you really only have to pay them, or a foot specialist once, after that if you understand the basics, you can do some of the fitting yourself.

but if you are on your feet a lot, it will be the best money you ever spent.

Most orthopedists will tell you that the only ones you can rely on are those specially fitted for your feet. Everyone's foot is different, and while the material might feel good at first, the subtleties of the fit--whether good or bad--may not surface for weeks or months. It might feel good the first week before the insert takes on the contours of your feet, but you are taking a risk, you'll end up less comfortable than without them.
