Why would you want to wake up? Every time I wake up in the morning, all those great dreams I had are gone. Instead, I sometimes wake up to something worse than I had dreamed.
Keep on dreaming. You might not like what you see when you wake up.

I believe that the wise people you are talking about, were referring to death as the wake up. Our life right now is a dream, and when we die, we wake up to a much better place, like heaven.

Those people don't sound very wise to me Sweetie. Life is for the wide awake and proactive.

Stay fully alert so you will be able to recognize opportunities when they come along. Never miss a chance to have fun with your life.

Save the dreaming for when you're asleep!

Eric, take it from me,we wake up because it's a nightmare. Then we zonk out again, and wake up in a cold sweat, and it starts all over again. I like to sprinkle my late husbands' aftershave on my pillow, that helps the dreams be a wee bit sweeter. Then without fail,I wake up. By the way; it's past my bed time. "G night. Sweet dreams Eric.

wow not to wise, i dreamed for years, or i should say i lived in a dream for yrs. i thought i could just go through life doing as i pleased, drugging smoking pot, drinking, treating people badly, it catches up to you and your life comes crashing down around you. i woke up, the Dr's told me to change my life style or die, my liver was shot, my kidneys were failing, and if i stayed on the path i was traveling i wouldn't live to see 45 yrs. well I'm 48, bad health, but i still have life and i am hear to enjoy my children and i try very hard to keep my faith, and seeing my children wakes me up.a journey down memory lane keeps me awake.

The Ice down the shirt thing should work. I wonder why these "wise" people never thought of that.
