You do when you get older... because you realize that everyone has different experiences, and in some cases, other people know more than you do about a particular topic.
But the key is how much you trust the person generally. If you think they're reliable in most things, then you'll be more willing to trust their advice.

Absolutely. If I ask a question and someone posts a link, I'll periodically go back to the question I asked to revisit the link. I don't always follow the advice but I do listen.

I listen but I may not heed... I have to do things the hard way.. Been that way since I was a child....Besides 1/2 the time I don't believe other people...
