My parents are still alive, but of course I am only 16, so I live with them. I talk to them as much as I can especially my mother more than my dad, because my dad is going through some problems, and he is really depresed

Yes! Thank God, Praise Jesus! I talk to my mother at least once a week. She is 79 years old and lives in Texas and I live in the Mid-West. My dad, who will turn 81 tomorrow, lives in Illinois with my step-mother, whom I also love very much. I don't talk to them as much but I do phone them about once a month. I just sent an e-mail message to my mom this evening as well as to my sister and brother-in-law, also. My main worry is losing either of them. I don't know if I will be able to handle that. I have been through many horrible things and have always called myself a Survivor but am concerned about when that happens. I hope my grandchildren reach 18 before I die and they will be able to take care of themselves on their own, then I will go next, then my parents after me. Then I will be okay. :o)

Yes, both of my parents are still alive. I still live at home with my mother. My dad lives in Dubbo [country town in New South Wales], we sometimes either talk on the net or by sms.

Yes, they are both still alive, and I live with them - so I suppose I have to talk to them quite a lot.

My father is...but my mom passed away already 14 years ago. Unfortunately, my father lives in the province and I am here in the city living with my husband's family. We don't talk that much coz it's expensive making calls to the province but I always text and ask how he is doing. What's worse is that he had mild stroke last October and there's no one taking care of him since we got him out of the hospital. I had to go back here for work and my wedding.

Yes, yes, and no--meaning, yes both are alive but only one I talk to (my father). My mother, I haven't seen for years. And the last time I talked to her was near Christmas last year, over the phone. We were never close.

Yes, they are both alive and kicking! I talk to my mom a lot everyday. Anything under the sun. Sometimes I joke around and she laughs her heart out. While, as for my dad, we don't talk. Really. I find him bossy sometimes and very fatherly and not as a friend. I don't like his attitude, we grow up not liking him very much. But I do respect him. It's just that we're not that close like others are.

Good question. My parents are not alive anymore. They both died of old age related diseases. But, I knew they would be gone one day and I treasured each day I had with them and am so very very very glad I did. But I still talk to them. :)
