My dad said Bush made everybody believe saddam had something to do with 9/11 and he didn't, and he lied about weapons and listens to peoples phone calls, and just ignores laws he don't like. what did clinton do that was worse than that?

A president can be impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors. Bush is not guilty of either. Neither was Clinton. The trial was merely a way for the Republicans to make it very difficult for the Democrats.

Speaking as a fan of clinton and not of bush, clinton lied underoathe aka purjery(sp). Bush was not under oath when all of those events happened.
Clinton did get impeached but he was never removed there is a difference.

Its probably called "poliitics". The Democrats might be able to get some of what they want simply by NOT impeaching him. One thing to look forward to: there is an election year coming up, and then Bush has to "retire" from the Presidency, some say the worst one ever. Let history be the judge, but right now "history" isn't looking good for G.W. Bush.
To "Chris J", above: it is true - read the paper. If that doesn't do it for you, read the CIA Intelligence Estimate reports that show that the Bush administration "cooked the books" in regards to the situation in Iraq. Sooner or later the truth comes out. Bush lied, and the evidence is now incontrovertible - deal with it.

Clinton WAS impeached because he committed a crime -- he lied under oath. He was also disbarred. But he didn't serve any jail time like a lot of other people do who lie under oath.
