A little stumped on how to carry this out, need to brush up on my algebra!
Evaluate the expression: log(base b) and then the square root of AB, where A=5 and B= -4
The possible answers are: a. 3.464
b. 0.500
c. -3.464 and...
____
d. 2 /-12
A short explanation as to how it works and the answer is all I need! :) Thanks!

Well, they didn't give a base, but what if we assume it's log (Base 2) - I know sometimes "b" stands for that?

Okay wait, maybe I'm missing something..
It says evaluate GIVEN THESE: Log(b)A=5 - and - Log(b)B=-4, and then that beginning equation with the sqr. root of AB.
