minimum income would be between $15,000-20,000 a year thats without an education or anything.
With a little to alot of education you can make alot more, it all depends on where you move in the US every state is different they all have different wages and different costs of living.
I live in NE and I make 25,000 a year , my husband makes more but this is what I make I have an associates degree working toward my bachelors.
The cost of living is with bills and all in my home is approx.
$2300 per month this includes neccesities only. This is the bare lowest income we could live on.
Not any kind of leisure.

The minimum wage in the US is $6.25 an hour. This is for any menial job. It appears you may be a computer person. It is not always easy to find a job in the computer or IT field. Depending on qualifications and experience you could start from $20-25,000 a year and up. Standard of living depends on what city/state you live in. You have to factor in how much rent you will pay for an apartment, the utilities you have to pay, transportation, food, etc, etc.

Unless you have a relative whom you can stay with at first, it may be difficult to start from scratch.

Minimum wage at the federal level is $5.15 per hour. Many states have higher minimums - if the state has a higher minimum, that's in effect for that state, otherwise defaults to the federal 5.15. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U.S._state_minimum_wages
