if they could be trusted to only make nuclear power plants it would be fine, but iran OPENLY supports terrorism, its even done at the governmental level. if they....when they get nuclear weapons there will be a huge problem, they can't even get along with most countries as it is now. if they launch any kind of nuclear weapon that whole country will just be wiped off the map, and i'm not saying by the U.S., that would just cause even more problems.

The USA hasn't used its nuclear weapons in over 60 years, so it has a proven record of restraint. Besides, the USA hasn't threatened to erase any of its neighbors from the page of time. Iran is continually creating provocations against anybody within range. Iran is also brutally repressing dissent among its own citizens; their head of state has promised to show no mercy to dissenters OR THEIR FAMILIES. This is not a trustworthy regime. For purposes of energy production, and for purposes of improving the economy, Iran needs refineries, not nuclear power plants, if that is on any interest to anybody. The only reason the government prefers nuclear plants is that these can be a source of nuclear weaponry.

Every country has the right to provide their people with the basic necesities to live a better life and electricity is one of them. The problem is that some countries tend to use nuclear power energy for means of creating nuclear weapons too. No country in the entire world should have the right to have nuclear weapons.

Sure, we open the gate when we let Israel, India and Pakistan build nuclear bombs, without sanctions. Because the nuclear bombs give you a power and respect even for the USA, see North Korea they do what they want and look what happened with Saddam Husein.
But the nuclear bombs have a peacefully way to use it, like India and Pakistan can made a big hole to buried all the people who died for lack of food and medicines because they use the money to build nuclear bombs.

Yes they have the right to have nuclear power plants. But there is a difference between creating weapons grade uranium and having nuclear powered electricity. They are reaching for weapons grade materials while creating electricity. If it were just electricity, the U.S. would not have a problem. They have stated that they want ALL Americans to die. Have any idea how they might go about doing that if they have weapons grade uranium?

Yes.
The United States signed a non-polifieration agreement. But they broke it and gave Israel nukes. They have the right under the treaty to develope it themselves.
However, Bush wants to corner the nuke market for himself. Just like the oil business.

I believe you have to look at this logically.
Iran is sitting on top of and owns about 20% of the worlds energy resources. You have to ask yourself why on earth would they need nuclear power. It just does not add up.
So you have to assume they are seeking weapons, Russia and China are not going to give them any, they both know that would be suicide.
If you follow the logic so far, then the question becomes should Iran have the right to nuclear weapons? If you consider they are on record stating that they will eliminate Israel it would be logical that to agree that they should have weapons means you agree with them on Israel..............which of course means you support genocide...........
pretty logical huh?

Yes,Iran has every right to nuclear power. They have signed the nuclear non proliferation treaty and as long as there is absolutely no proof that they are trying to build nukes ,they are not doing anything illegal...
And war against Iran is not a solution ,it could actually cause many more problems...

If Iran doesn't have the "right" -then where did we get OURS from??? Why can WE have & drop Nuclear bombs- but not Iran? Why can WE invade and kill the leaders of other Countries- but not Iran? Why can WE pick & choose which countries we will help & for what reasons- but NOT Iran? In other words, WHEN did WE become "God"- the "decider" of the fates & fortunes of other countries??? Does Iran have the "right" to stick its finger in our eye & declare, "This is OUR Country- & none of your business..."? And if it doesn't- you tell me. I have a feeling alot of people across the Middle East- would like to know...
