Water is the most abundant molecule on Earth's surface, composing 70-75% of the Earth's surface as liquid and solid state in addition to being found in the atmosphere as a vapor. Water is the chemical substance with chemical FORMULA and SYMBOL - H2O: one molecule of water has two hydrogen atoms covalently bonded to a single oxygen atom, its molecular COMPOUND has the systemic name of dihydrogen monoxide. The formula for water identifies ELEMENTS and compounds in place of their full names, H2O, to indicates that two atoms of hydrogen are present for every atom of oxygen.

It basically means that the editor didn't have to do much editing. That the work was already written with every detail in mind, and all the editor has to do is some tweaking. And to me, this is the basis of good writing. Having a good command of the language and knowing what would best get your point across. A good knowledge base of vocabulary, grammar, and diction.
