I just lost my virginity about 2 weeks ago and after the first time, I bled for about 2 days. I figured this was just my hymen breaking, which is perfectly normal. Everytime I have had sex after that, it hurt for a few minutes after "entry." And then a few nights ago I started bleeding again. It is not my period. I was wondering if it is possible to halfway break your hymen and then break it the rest of the way later. Please help!

If you're not experienced, sometimes bleeding occurs. May be due to the natural friction that occurs during the activity. Could also be caused by the increased stretching that takes place or due to not being well lubricated during the act. When I'm with somebody, that happens if there is a lots of forceful pounding on my part. Or prolonged intercourse. If the problem continues you might want to try a lubricant or consult with your physician.

It's possible for the hymen to not completely break but I would recommend getting in touch with your dr to have this evaluated to rule out infection as a possible reason for the bleeding.
