I've seen some of the films you've all mentioned, you are right some of them were hilariously funny,(Shrek, Madagascar, Mickey Blue eyes...) but I thought there would be soooo many more that I hadn't seen! ---so few, really?!

> The Court Jester (laughing so hard I couldn't breathe for 15 seconds)

I no longer watch todays movies as main priority, but rather old movies. You'll really be suprised who refreshing and hilarious old movies are (the ones which are intended to be funny ofcourse).

Elling. A foriegn film directed by Petter Næss (2001). It also made me cry though.
40 year old virgin (surprisingly enough! this film is on par with office space)
wow...there are really a shortage of good funny movies if i can only think of two...

can only think of one right now --- MICKEY BLUE EYES with Hugh Grant!
It was so hilarious esp the part wherein he had to act like he was a member of the mafia and had to use the accent!! (in a restaurant wherein he needs to tell that he wants his steak done rare!)
