None what so ever. It's called faith. And it's more sophisticated than the dumb, boring, old fashion way of believing that the earth is round.

I know it's not flat, but if I believed it was anything but a sphere, I would reason that a cylinder would be plausible... but we've had people to the North and South Poles, so there would be no point in me arguing it (especially since I know it's round).
I'm a geographer and I've studdied old maps what showed the earth as flat and they are very interresting. But it makes you wonder how stupid the human race was back then. It's sad, really.

There is no reason that anyone would believe the earth is flat since it has been proven incorrect by our scientists long time ago.

properly i know the earth is around allready-yet to respond to this i will say that the people whilst they didnt know that the earth became around..the way they theory it became flat became by using fact they traveled and that they didnt sense the opposite direction up and such LOL i assume thats why they theory it became...and plus they have been idiots...lower back then-yet could desire to u blame them? they didnt have not got any technologies-even tho they have been so lazy to even come across something,aside from the few that made mild and the wheel lol this became a waste of time LOL
