yes you'd be violating copyright laws, regardless of where you sold you.
If you translated the song, it doesnt mean that its yours, you did not create it in the first place, and if the creator wanted it translated, then it could have been translated.

all countries that are members of the World Trade Organization recognize the copyrights that apply in the authors home country. a translation is a derivative product so it does not qualify for copyright by itself. what you need to do is get permission, because the original author does not infringe his own work. that way it can be copyright protected in the new language, of course you will negotiate a split in the royalty.
