I think it is called O.C.D. or obssesive compulsive disorder. I do not know anyone who has been diagnosed with this, but I think I have a touch of it. I am a neat freak around my house. I like for everything to be cleaned and sanitized. I can't stand the thought of a dirty house. I do not have any children; just a husband. But everyone tells me that this will pass once children are brought into the mix. So, we will just have to see. :)

OCD is a terrible thing. I love Monk. What a character he is. Do you think he will
change even a little bit?

A neighbor I used to have did have OCD. I could see her checking her plants. She would do the same plants, in the same order and then back into the house and back and do the same thing in the order for about l/2 hour. Sad.

I have OCD. Its kinda interesting...Some days its worse and some days not. If do one thing with my left side then I have to do it with my right. (if I step on a crack with my left foot I have to do the same with my right.) Sometimes my shoulders shrug for 10 secs or so and my eyes twitch at times. Like I said B4, at times its worse and at times it does not seem to be there...In monk they show OCD at its worst.
Peace:
Amanda

I've never known someone with OCD,but I have tendencies of the illness myself. All my behaviors I do in private, which is very typical of someone with OCD.You will never know that most people suffer from this illness because they try to hide it from others.

everyone displays symptoms of OCD, at some point... only when it rules your life (over 35% of your time spent) are you diagnosed...
