When I was younger, my dad would help my sister and I raise and then release tadpoles. This year, I decided it would be a neat thing to do, but I haven’t done it for at least 10 years or more, and can’t remember what time of the year to start looking for them. I know where to find them and how to take care of them, but I want to know when it’s time to collect them. My mother told me she remembered we used to do it in the Spring, but I haven’t seen any yet. Is it too early? Is this the wrong time of the year altogether? Any info would be great!

I would start looking now. I haven't seen any in MI yet, but we need some warmer days. Check smaller, shallow ponds. I have heard Bullfrogs lately though, so it should be anytime. I always thought that was pretty cool when I was a kid too. Thanks for the memory!
