I was told by a speaker, on the subject of working with "difficult" teens, that a role model is not an athlete, a rap star, or a movie star, a role model is someone they see everyday. A teacher is that person so it is important that a teacher carry themselves as someone to be immulated.

If I answer somebody rudely and you look up to me as someone you can learn from, you might think it's OK to speak that way to others. " But Mr. Xxx did that" is something you hear a kid say in protest when he's told his behaviour is bad,and told not to do it.

You'll have to do your own homework, but I'll correct the grammar for you. "Teachers everywhere have been regarded as role models." You're welcome.
