I am curious to who is angry. I have been really nice lately because I am trying not to upset myself. Let me tell you something. I am about to give you the lowdown because I am sick to death of people assuming things about black people.

First of all, we do not sit around thinking about other races all day. Other races are the last thing on our minds.

Next, we rarely even think about slavery, unless someone brings it up.Usually the someone that brings it up is white. Then and only then do we form an opinion to answer it. Many times, we just roll our eyes and shake our heads.

The arguments that are used are old ones. Arguments that came from comedy shows and nonsense like that. We do not think that there is a "man." We do not run around saying "whitey." The only time that I have heard or seen that one used is when a white person is saying that black people are saying that.

Next, calling someone n***er or darkie or ape. That is a bunch of nonsense. We have heard much worse. Most of us feel that you can run your mouth all that you want to, but the moment that you put your hands on us. You will have a bad day.

I see this nonsense about AIDs. The highest group is not black women, it is a growing number. The highest group is adolescent male. Caused from Adult men to adolescent males. Now if you would look at the statistics for the child molestation then...

Black women are not jealous of white women in the least. THis is another generalization. We do not care if you date millions of black men. We are confident in who we are.

Another generalization is that black people are not educated and not working. Out of all the black people that I know, there is not to one that has less than a Bachelor's degree. There is not one that is not a professional with a career.

Then I see how some believe that black men do not take care of thier family. There is more nonsense. A select few does not, but most dote on thier kids.

Some say blacks are gangbangers. That is nonsense. Gangbangers are more generational than racial.

The last belief that I want to dispel is this. Black people are NOT afraid of groups like the KKK. Most of us would give them directions to our homes. They would walk up but leave running.

I know that I gave you more than you asked. If you want to know about someone, take the time to ask. Do not feed into the nonsense. One more thing. some think they can break us by using racial slurs. They have to know this, it takes more than that. We are told what to expect from people from the time that we can walk. So, the only thing that it provides is brief annoyance.

actually the slaves were segregated in the union army from the whites and in the confederate army they faught right beside and was not segregated from the confederate army. a lot of people think that the confederate war was over slavery and only slavery and that is NOT true, while slavery was an issue it was not the sole reason that they were at war, the main reasons was that they were at war with the north bc the south wanted to become independent states from the north, slavery was just one of the issues in the war. most people only remember the slavery issue bc of president lincoln making the proclamation to stop slavery. in the confederate war they had over 200,000 blacks fighting with and along side the confederate army. i dont understand why people do not realize that the confederate war will always be a part of our history along with the confederate flag, and all the confederate state flags, there has been some problems with the flags in the south and it is only a part of history that needs to be recognized like any other history. and that is true about most of the north were slaves freeing slaves, but what the history books do not elaberate on is the fact that then north may have had slaves, they were not treated like the ones in the south, they were givin living opportunities, they were allowed to leave and return as often as they wanted and they had acess to the owner's land to farm for them selves unlike in the south, they were beatin, and had to find their own food, even though shelter was provided it was not much usually an old ran down shack. and although slavery was stopped after the confederate war it did not stop segregation. people will just have to realize that the war is over has been for over 200 years and that we at the present do NOT owe anyone

I can't understand why these people who cry about the slaves three hundred years ago are whining when they had slaves of there own some time before? In Egypt, other parts of Africa, Middle Asia, the Orient, even Russian and Germanic people had slaves at one point in their history. I would say it's a great way to quickly build to a level of self sustainability in the gaining of a large mass of land not yet fitted to the needs of the people. Not that I think it was "nice, proper, or good". Neither is a volcano, or a rabid dog, but they are all parts of our human level of existence. So everybody chill on the slave issue. Besides many of those "slaves" were actually indentured servants and were given bounty for their work.

Huh? It's a bit of a stretch to call a conscript a slave! They may be forced to fight but they still get paid for it. They are also indentured to a govenment and not "owned" by an individual. Slavery is one of mankinds great evils but I personly think conscription if a pretty dodgey thing also!
