Not normal, but not abnormal either.
Have you lost weight? Play sports. Had stress? Are you sexually active?

The first couple of years isn't very regular when it comes to your period, I know mine wasn't, i'm 22 now. But it also depends whether your sexually active. But if it goes on for a long time see ur doctor. But 2-3 months when your first starting isn't really anything to worry about.

Assuming that you don't think you could be pregnant, it is not unusual to have irregular periods with long gaps when you have just started your period. I had my first period and then didn't get another for about a year, I've got a perfectly regular cycle now though. If you have lost a lot of weight recently that could also stop your periods. If you are really worried go and see your doctor, they should be able to reassure you.

You should not worry... It is very normal to have irregular period during your first few years of becoming a woman. Your body still is developing and changing. Hormones and stress can cause your period to be abnormal. I recommend you to see a gyno, for expert advice. If you're sexually active, then you could be pregnant.

If you are sexually active.. you should see a doc regarding your irregular periods.
If you arent sexually active, then not to worry.
Its most probably caused by stressed.
When my sis was studying for her exams when she was 16, she did not have her period for 6 months!
Enjoy the long break.

Periods can take a while to regulate to a normal pattern. Things that can affect your period are stress, weight loss or gain, sports or activity, chemical balance, sexual activity and a sexually transmitted disease. Talk to your school nurse or doctor. If you suspect you are pregnant, contact your public health department for guidance and testing.

Don't worry everybody is different just because you have gotten your period regularly for a year and now it has changed
means nothing.I been getting my period for 10 years and I started skipping my period every other month it lasted for 3 years and came back normal. My sister would only get her twice a year and she had three kids.

What you worrying about? You should be glad(wish it were me;you are fortunate) enjoy the free time cuz when it is regular you ain't gonna like it... Hopefully you don't have menstruation cramps, they are unbearable, sometimes I feel like committing suicide.. I wouldn't do that but that is just how the pains I have are...It is normal but if you are not sexually active I dont think you have anything to worry about...
