There are a lot of people in New Orleans helping to rebuild the city, grab some of the Habitat for Hunanity people and ask if they can help you build a ramp.
or, go to Loews, Home Depot and other similar stores, maybe they have pre-built ramps.

so many people in new orleans who do that sort of thing, i would try and locate some of them, like the ones who built the ramps on the FEMA trailors i believe they were local contrated people. like the other person said the people at Lowe's or Home depot can help too, they might even have a book on how to do it yourself, which would save money
