If you've been through the program, what was it like? What did you like and dislike? Which state did you attend? Would you recommend it?

I went to job corps in Keystone PA. I was 16 (now 26) when I went and got a GED and took up the business/clerical trade. It was... fun, and strict. But it depends on which campus you go to in my opinion. We had alot of space to work with and alot of activities set up for us to do when we weren't in class.

I'd recommend it for someone who is younger like around 16. Job corps doesn't really teach you enough to get out there and make use of it. It teaches you the basics leaving you needing more education and experience. But that's just my experience as someone who took up the business/clerical trade.

I did notice that the people who were taking up the construction type trades did ok finding work afterwards though.
