there really is no good reason for it, but i want to go to China and the orient. i think the culture is so neat....everyone else thinks i am crazy. but i just like the Chinese culuture, i started learning Mandarin, but i had to stop cause i couldnt afford to drive the 100 miles it took to get to the teacher...but that language is so much fun. (at least i thought it was) why?

go with it. it may be your calling. Don't ignore it. You don't have to learn the language before you go, just go. i have a feeling you will catch on very quickly. you may not stay, but there will be a lesson learned from your trip that you will never forget, one that may forever change your life

Well you have a right to be interested in whatever you want!! Don't let others decide for you what you should and should not like. If you are interested then learn as much as you can. It's good that you are into different cultures. ♥♥
