I'm 5'6" and 130-135 lbs and can rarely find stuff that fits me well. It's either too baggy or too long and if it does fit in the dressing room, chances are it'll shrink too much in the dryer. I'm wondering what looks best on smaller guys and what colors look good as well. I'm horrible at color coordination. I have black hair and somewhat tan skin when I've been in the sun. Is yellow good? What sneakers or sandals look good?

well wear sumfin' dat make u look tall wut bout those baggy styles black baggy jeans and a red big shirts and long chains @ ur neck will it look good on u? try!!!
I dunno much bout boys so ummm try it cuz i always c boyz wearing sumfin' like dat.

Stick with lighter colors, the darker ones may make you look smaller. Go for khakis and light blue, pale yellow and white polo shirts. Don't wear those shorts that go down past the knee as those will just make you seem shorter. Stick with pants and don't make them too oversized or baggy, the wider and baggier the pant- the shorter you will appear. If you wear shorts make sure they are at the knee or a little higher- this will give the illusion of a longer leg.

Woot i guess i have a similar situation here.Im 5'6" also but im 120 lbs.And yes i do have black hair.Depending how tanned you are u should wear white shirts.Yellow shirts look funny with yellow hair. Depending on your waist size u should perhaps wear low rise jeans.My waist is 28" and i wear low rise jeans from Buffalo and they fit great. Just remember dont buy clothes without trying them on.Have fun and good luck!

Hi Kevin, It depends on the event or where you are going. I don't think 5'6'' is short I am 5'3'' If you are taking a girl out go with club clothing or if you are going to a roller rink bluejeans and a T shirt.

no man don't sweat it too much. wear something that you are comfortable with. i have the same problem as you do. but in my case i wear skinny jeans to lengthen my legs and it makes you look taller. and also wear something that your body fits. if you are small, why would you wear a medium? it doesn't make any sense.
and just try to mix match it.

IF IT FITS IN THE DRESSING ROOM , WHY NOT GO ONE SIZE LARGER? ALSO MANY SHOPS ALTER THEIR CLOTHES AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. GOOD LUCK. COLOUR WISE, THE SALES PERSON WOULD GLADLY HELP. I LIKE FORMAL SHOES.
