Say they are both at the same temperature, and you put an ice cube in a cup of acid and one in a cup of water, which would melt first?

Acid, since you have a reaction with hydrogen ion:
H2O + H+ -> H3O+ as the acid is diluted.

In Acid ice melts faster because of the exothermic reaction.

The acid by pure effects of "molality" will lower the freezing (melting) point of the solution and the ice will melt faster. (The solution will be colder than 32 degees F, also).
The same is true for any solution besides pure water.
Acid does not react with the solid ice.
