No it is quite easy. If you go to your local hardware store, or Lowes and ask an associate to show you the fluidmaster products. I only use fluid master as they are very reliable. You can get instructions at this link .http://www.fluidmaster.com/pdf/400c_instructions.pdf
It is as easy as turn off water 2. lift lid 3. flush toilet to empty tank. 4. remove line 5. remove fill valve. 6. put in new valve. 7. Adjust height. 8. put on hose ( I suggest you change to a new hose while it is apart. 9. turn on water 10. put on tank lid. I have done lots of them, and it is about a 20 min job. I hope this helps.

Chances are either you have a leaking seal between the tank and the bowl or you just have a really big tank. ou might try placing a couple of bricks in the tank if it is really large as it will require less water to fill it and use less water to operate. The repair is quite easy and any home improvement store can show you what you need to do.

It should be pretty simple. I assume that the valve is completely open? Make sure that the water is able to get to the tank. There may be an adjustment on the inlet side to adjust the amount of water flow.

You need to get a replacement ballcock valve from the hardware store. Thye are pretty easy to install and come with instructions. Get a new flexible line to go from the wall valve to the new ballcock valve to make it even easier.
