What characteristics would you most likely have?

I agree but I'm thinking he'd be the type to always have a smile, be happy to just be alive, and very used to standing out from the crowd. Norbert is a fine name if I ever heard one! And the fact he suggested a turtle for a pet is impressive. :)

First and foremost, I would have total devotion to getting my name changed, both legally, and in practice. LOL. I would grudgingly allow my parents to continue to call me Norbert.

But that's not really what you asked :-)). Norbert may sail okay in the UK, but in the US it would be a very difficult name to overcome. My first impression is mostly negative: socially ill at ease, bad posture, dowdy looking. Perhaps a good student, but not well-rounded. NOT the football hero or prom king. I think that just by having that name, the negativity is a self-fulfilling prophecy to some extent.

Dear Diary,
I might have sweaty palms... but my breath is perfect! I brush my teeth after every meal! I am very nicely groomed.... I get my eyebrows done once a week!!! What's the point of all of this anyway though.... Linda never notices. I've worked with her for three years and I don't even think she knows my name. I really should just quit, she's the only reason I stay around and that isn't even worth it anymore.
The car broke down again this morning. The boss wasn't too happy with me being late. He gave me a huge project just to make sure I know how unhappy he is. My life sucks.... I just spilled my coffee all over my khaki pants. Later.
Norbert
