If honesty got you to the White House, our president would be Ron Paul right now. He's the only member of Congress who supports the Constitution and is mocked as a "dinosaur politician" for doing so. He even voted against a medal for Rosa Parks (as well as Ronald Reagan and Mother Teresa) because it wasn't authorized by the Constitution.
Out of the current members of Congress, only Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich would be anywhere near the government. The Libertarian Party would probably be the majority party, with the Constitution Party and the Green Party as minority parties.
That's the biggest problem with Democracy. Too many voters are uninformed and incapable of realizing when they're being lied to. People cheer on their party like you cheer on a football team.
The reason why we got crooks like the Bush and Clinton families is because voters keep voting them back into power. Nobody will vote for a "3rd party," even if the Democrats run Al Gore and the Republicans run George W. Bush. Bush was actually the better choice of the Democrat and Republican candidates in both of the last 2 elections, but he ranks as one of the worst dictators ever to run the United States. More people should have voted for Ralph Nader, Harry Browne, Pat Buchanan, or anybody but the Democrat and Republican. Bush, Gore, and Kerry aren't fit to be the dogcatcher.

People of younger ages will be powerful if truth will be the basis of power because they are idealistic without the untruthfulness of politicians.

Sorry, Sir, but President Bush would be the most honest, and have the most power, as he does. He told us ALL, meaning America, and the world who were listening, that WE are going to war, and WE will force from criminals, to tell us who is responsible for 9/11. He promised to US, that we will never quit. Remember those words, buddy, or have you forgotten 9/11 already?
