yes, our presidente does. but i dont know about other countries. do you think it would be unfair if they didn't?

Yes, as a matter of fact President Bush's tax return was recently made public.

Other countries, I don't know.

Yes they have to pay taxes. But they also get lot of tax-free perks like housing, vehicles, travel etc....

Same holds good for the other countries too, with slight variation here and there.

Everybody that receives a government paycheck, pays taxes.
Even little old ladies getting five hundred a month from social security pays taxes on it.
Don't know about other countries.

Presidents are not exempt from paying taxes, their salaries are subject to tax because these are income under the tax laws.

don't know about other countries but here in good 'ol usa? yep! you bet! wouldn't go over well with the american public if were found that the pres & his vp were exempt from taxes & the rest of us weren't. what? want another revoluition?

He doesn't get paid much, but everything is free, such as food, transportation, utilities etc.I think It used to be $250,000 per year tax free. It's probably gone up with inflation.
