Find the prime-factored form of the number 30

Yes you are correct
5*5= 25*2 = 50. that one cant be.
10 is simplified to more factors so a is also incorrect.
6 is also simplified into more fators.
the only choice where there are only prime numbers is
5,3,2. 5*3= 15*2 = 30. you are right.

30 = 10 x 3 = 2 x 5 x 3
Thes are prime numbers and this agrees with your answer of 5 , 3 , 2

The next primes are 7, 11, 13, none of which divide 30 evenly.

(actually, you never have to check past the square root of the number you are factoring. )
