Okay.. lets say I'm 4-6 weeks pregnant...and I 'feel' something in my lower abdomen. Is it too early for that feeling to be the baby moving? Is it just gas?

Although the baby will be moving around by 10 weeks, you probably won't feel anything until 16 weeks. The baby just isn't big enough until then. Now I'm almost 19 weeks and I just felt baby's kick from the outside for the first time! At 4 weeks, the baby is about the size of a period at the end of a sentence. By 7 weeks it may be the size of a pencil eraser. Couldn't feel either of those! But I know I was pretty darn gassy the first two months, so if you're pregnant then you most likely will have some gas rolling around in there right about now!

hahaha 4-6 wks. No way you can't feel the baby move. It is probably gas. You will not feel the baby move til around 4 1/2 to 5 months.

I started to feel the baby very faintly at 13 weeks,I am 22 weeks now and feel her all the time.I would say that it is gas. For me I remember having hopeful feelings of feeling the baby move at 4-6 weeks I would swear it was the baby.I liked it alot better than gas LOL : )

With the first you won't feel the baby move until after 12 weeks. With this one (I'm at 31weeks with number 3) I could have sworn I felt him move at 7 weeks but it was most likely gas. It wil feel like an actual butterfly in your stomach, or like you are really nervous but you aren't. Don't worry, we all start to think we are going crazy before too long into a pregnancy.

That's just gas honey :) I'm 22 weeks and have only just started to feel kicking and movement the last couple of weeks. Some women do feel movement sooner, but not at 4 weeks.

ABSOLUTELY too early lol. The earliest you will feel your baby, if this is your first, is around 20 weeks. Longer than that sometimes. If its not your first pregnancy, MAYBE youll feel it at 16 weeks. But impossible at only 4-6. So Id say your just gassy lol. good luck and congrats

at 4-6 weeks, you baby isnt even a baby yet...no arms or legs...cant move...so sorry to burst your bubble, but no its not the baby...i felt my son when i was about 18 weeks...you can feel it as early as 14 or 15...depends on your body size a lot...if youre skinny, youll feel it sooner than if youre overweight

You wont feel the baby until about 16 weeks, sometimes if you've had previous children you can feel them earlier.
