I'm considering donating my organs and get cremated....definitely save a lot of land and money. Here some are willing to spend hundred thousands or touching million to book beforehand a space for a mansion cemetery. What a waste to the landscape.....

How about "lost at sea", does that count?
None seems preferable. In cremation, they have you in an oven for several hours at extremely high heat, until there is absolutely nothing left of you but fine ash. Watch the 007 film "Diamonds are forever", there's a scene where Bond almost gets cremated. No fun to imagine.
But Burial seems claustrophobic,-like what if your spirit cant get out?

Cremated, with my ashes scattered, after the healthy parts of me are harvested so others can benefit. And, even as an Apostolic, I do not worry about not being able to "meet Jesus in the air." Since it is such a long way up there, all my little ashes will find their way to each other and by the time I get to Heaven, I will be whole, anyway.

I want to be cremated and I want the box to be disinigratable, I just heard an awful story from a guy I know whos a gravedigger, and sometimes if you dont have one of those big metal boxes covering the coffin, when they put the first load of dirt on top of you, it splits right open...I wanted to be cremated before, but that definatly made up my mind.

interior the Bible cremation is portrayed basically as a great technique of doing away with our bodies. maximum in many circumstances cremation happened interior the middle of strange circumstances. as an occasion, in a million Samuel 31:12 we learn the adult males of Jabesh-Gilead who burned the corpses of Saul and his sons with a view to avert desecration of their our bodies on the arms of the philistines. we don't discover cremation reported interior the hot testomony. Burial is the conventional technique. in addition to, the church fathers favored "the classic and extra effective custom of burying interior the earth." inspite of the undeniable fact that, there is not any fairly prohibition against cremation interior the pages of Scripture. And if a Christian does get cremated, this poses no issue for God in resurrecting that individual's physique from the lifeless (1Cor 15:40 two-40 4). We study in 2 Cor 5:a million, "Now all of us be attentive to that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we've a development from God, an eternal domicile in heaven, no longer built by human arms." It does not count how our "earthly tent" (physique) is destroyed; all that concerns is that God will enhance it from the lifeless. Even people who're buiried at last dissolve into airborne dirt and dust and bones. So inspite of although if we are buried or cremated, we are in a position to all watch for an enduring resurrection physique that may no longer concern to loss of existence and rot.

I hope I'll have some organs still good to be donated.
Then my body will be donated to the university to be used by students.
Finally my remains will be cremated and scattered.

i gave this topic lots of thought and i came to the conclusion that after spending life time on this god forsaken world and the thought of spending an eternity in a dark cold hole in the ground and being eaten by magets just doesn't feel right.
so i have given instructions to my family that i wish to be cremated and have my ashes released in the wind or have them spread under a shady tree on the ground. i also left instructions to donate any organs that can be used to save someones life.
peace out,

I also plan on organ donations, as I'd no longer have any use for them. Cremate what's left, it'll be left-overs anyway.
I'm making very sure I don't wake up 6ft under.....

I want to be cremated and have someone run around throwing my ashes in the face of people that pissed me off through life.
He would run up to a wal-mart greeter and be like, "Shane says, HI" and throw a large amount of ash in his face.
Revenge from beyond the grave is awesome!!!
