Should he? And why? Why not? And would we be better off with Cheney as President?

To be honest, I don't know. Part of me says yes, but the other part asks can this country really go through another impeachment hearing? If he was found guilty or if he resigned before that, could we really deal with Darth Cheney? I don't think we can. The best option is to call our Congressional members and make sure we hold their feet to the fire and let them know that if they do not stand their ground and hold him accountable and keep his feet to the flames, we will put them on the unemployment line.

Him and Cheney should be impeached for misuse of the military.Police Actions are an impeachable offense. What more harm could Pelosi do in the interim?None that I can see. There are some good candidates running in the next election on both sides. But by not impeaching Bush and Cheney I fear anyone who gets the office will also think they have a free hand to further their own agendas and make no mistake most of those aren't for the American people.Regardless of party.

Why bother with impeachment when he will only be pres 20 more months. It'd take that long to do it anyway. But Cheney as president!!!. What a wonderful idea. Maybe he will run for president!

Wow, it's almost impossible to cut through the bullsh*t on this site and read anything that is somewhat true.

The bottom line is you can't impeach a president simply because you don't like him or don't agree with him.

Bush has not committed any high crimes or misdemeanors regardless of what liberals say, therefore he will not be impeached.

I think that Bush, Cheney, and all of the other Neo-Cons should be impeached. I also would have impeached Bill Clinton and everybody who came up with excuses to justify his actions (I'm not talking about sleeping with Lewinsky, which was unworthy of impeachment, I'm talking about corruption, the terrorist attack on the church in Waco, and the wars of nation building).

I'd impeach most of both parties. That would leave us with people who would have enough sense to shut down government waste instead of throw more money down the drain.

What crime has he committed? Lied to a grand jury? Oops! That was Clinton. Obstruction of justice? Oops! That was Nixon. Conspiracy? Oops! That was Jackson.

SPECIFICALLY, WHAT CRIME HAS HE COMMITTED?

Or do you believe that congress should impeach anyone they don't like?

Let me guess...your articles of impeachment would go something like this...

Article 1 - President Bush is, um, like dumb and stuff.
Article 2- Bush lied people died
Article c-Halliburton

That said, Cheney would be an improvement IMHO.

Why should he be impeached? At least when Clinton was brought up on charges there were legal issues supporting his impeachment. What law has Bush violated? Honestly I'm glad Clinton wasn't impeached otherwise we would have had to suffer through an Al Gore presidency (almost worse than a Hillary presidency).

No. All of his actions were conducted within his constitutional rights as the President who remember, was put into power by the people.

Also, if this is about the war, if you want to impeach the president, then you must also file grievance against Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Harry Reid and all of the other elected officials who supported operations against Iraq. Just because THEY changed their minds, doesn't make the President wrong. If you want to look at it that way, they encouraged the President, no, Called on the President to take action on Saddam Hussein. (see below)

"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process." -Nanci Pelosi 1998

"I applaud the President on focusing on this issue and on taking the lead to disarm Saddam Hussein. ... Others have talked about this threat that is posed by Saddam Hussein. Yes, he has chemical weapons, he has biological weapons, he is trying to get nuclear weapons." -Nanci Pelosi 2002

"If we fail to respond today, Saddam and all those who would follow in his footsteps will be emboldened tomorrow by the knowledge that they can act with impunity, even in the face of a clear message from the United Nations Security Council and clear evidence of a weapons of mass destruction program." -Bill Clinton 1998

"There's no question that Saddam Hussein is a threat to the United States and to our allies... If Saddam persists in thumbing his nose at the inspectors, then we're clearly going to have to do something about it." -Howard Dean 2002

"We stopped the fighting [in 1991] on an agreement that Iraq would take steps to assure the world that it would not engage in further aggression and that it would destroy its weapons of mass destruction. It has refused to take those steps. That refusal constitutes a breach of the armistice which renders it void and justifies resumption of the armed conflict." -Harry Reid 2002

"It is the duty of any president, in the final analysis, to defend this nation and dispel the security threat. Saddam Hussein has brought military action upon himself by refusing for 12 years to comply with the mandates of the United Nations." -John Kerry 2003

No. Because he has committed no crimes. even if the Democrats get rid of Bush they then will have to take out Cheney- the one who ran Halliburton(giving a good excuse to protest the war). Why waste the tax dollars?

Yes, and I believe he and his entire Adminstration, all members of Congress that voted for this war, and the Pentagon, the CIA, AIPAC, the Israeli Mossad, and all other guilty parties should be rounded up and tried for war crimes and crimes against humanity. Using dirty bombs during indiscriminate bombing campaigns has taken the USA to an all time low. And scum like Bush will take us even lower, and will bankrupt us in every possible as he invades Iran, Syria, Lebanon, etc., etc. Next we will be security forces in Israel.

Welcome to the global Zionist network known as the New World Order. Goodbye America and freedom.
