you know the solution will be of the form:

(x + _)(x + _)

the two numbers need to multiply to -32, but add to -4.

factor -32:

-8*4 = -32
-8+4 = -4

so the answer is

(x-8)(x+4)

The first one. If your factors are (ax+b)(cx+d),
ac =1, ad+db= -4 and bd= -32. Only that combo works.

Since you have the different choices, you could just FOIL them out and see which one works.. but I guess just getting the answer on here is easier.
