Help I accidentally put one of my husband's white shirts in with my red dress and it bled pink into the shirt. What can I do? It has a green design (thread) on it so I can use bleach...

Wal-mart carries a product called RIT, in the laundry Isle it comes in a littel white box. Grab the "color remover" it works great. And it wont harm the green threads.

If you can find a product called Dye Rid, it can get the loose dye out of the clothes while leaving the original thread colour alone (providing it is colourfast). You could also try soaking in a nappy soaking solution, which again should remove the excess dye.
Nothing will remove the dye if it has been set by heat - either by having the shirt tumble dried hot or ironed.

you do have to clean your washer with bleach and clear water; then clean the cloths with light bleach. Don't wash any new products such as towels, face cloths, woolens , socks, mens underware, with anything else. Wash all of these things separate I know it seems like a lot of work but you will save your self alot of time and money.

You can just re-wash it in color safe bleach if it has not been dried already.
