It's an automatic. I just checked the transmission fluid last night it was fine. I hope this is not expensive.

Transmission fluid level is fine and the car only has 60,000 miles.

It is the linkage between engine and trasmission.

or

Universal joint, or CV joint.

It may be a likage and it droped in the nuetral and you are not able to shift it manualy.

Transmission canbe rebuilt.

On automatic transmission fluid is checked with engine running and transmiion in the park position. There is a procedure in your owner's manual, use the procedure to be sure.

Is it automatic transmission? If so, it sounds like there's a problem with the transmission. You'll have to get it to a shop and have it looked at.

DO NOT go to a chain (Aamco and the like); take it to a reputable independent transmission shop. If you don't know any, check the Mechan-X files on cartalk.com.

You may have a transmission problem, That is what makes the car move from park to drive, can't really think of anything else that would make it do that.

verify the transmission fluid. even if that is low, it extremely is defiantly the problem. If its no longer, attempt cranking and letting it sit down in idle for awhile. I have had that difficulty with our Chevy Blazer, notwithstanding it in simple terms mandatory some time to get the transmission fluid flowing. If neither of those artwork, take it to the keep. it might want to be something more advantageous serious.

Not enough information. It could be your clutch is shot if its a standard. If its an automatic it could be a transmission problem.
Maybe your universal joint broke on the drive shaft.
If its a front wheel drive a CV joint could have failed.

our blazer did this last month, it was something about the clutches for the automatic transmission, were you moving and it just stoped connecting, ours did that, knew it was the automatic clutch, becuse if i put it in 1st or 2nd manually it went just fine.,
