Why? What is the explaination if it is or not a phony democracy?

Russia can best be thought of as a failed nation,in the same sense that Somalia is a failed nation.It will not maintain itself as a free country,it cannot.
The economy is a mess with the mafia having more control of some things than the government.There is a spirit of lawlessness there and it will end up as a dictatorship again.

Russia is a phony democracy because their government is appointed, and not elected. Also, the laws and respresentation are appointed and there is no voice for the people regarding their governance.

Russia is a phony democracy because its politics is communism but economy continues to adopt capitalist systems to cope up with world economic powers.
