The time is 12;48 P.M. on Wednesday, May 9th,2007 here in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
It is funny that You should ask about My day. I was just saying to one of the Constituents (I am working in a Politician's Office) that so far My day has had all the hall marks of being absolute rubbish...and then turning into crap. Not one single thing has gone right all day...and I still have not had lunch.
The House (Parliament) is in session. I am here with the Parliamentary Secretary, And the Local Member's Parliamentary Assistant and between the two of them I have been lost since I walked through the door. Politics. Have You any idea just how confused the people who actually run the world (bureaucrats Public Servants etc.) really are? Democracy is a funny thing. In The U.S.of A. people vote if they wish to, and are appathetic to the whole process. Here in Australia voting is compulsory, and half the voters want to complain about the time They spend doing so. In some parts of the worls populations would love to be able to participate in the demosration process, and in many cases are prepared to die in that pursuit.
And what am I doing? Sorting through letters written by poeple too stupid to be able to pit an "X" in a box without getting it wrong. Such is life! I hope that Your day was of more benefit to humanity than Mine.

Despite my cold, it was a good day. My 3 yr old decided to be in a good mood and was exceptionally good all day. Then my husband took us to Olive Garden cause I wasn't up for cooking and cleaning up. My head is throbbing and I probably won't sleep tonight, but I am loved and that makes all the difference.

Awesome..
It was our first warm day in the Toronto area.
Got to go lay out by the backyard, went for a bike ride and then had some bbq.. looking forward to the rest of the summer.

I had a fabulous day. I work at the Boys & Girls Club and today I connected with a child who really needed a friend - it felt great!!!!!!! And then I got the opportunity to tellher mom that she had a good day and did not have any time outs - it was great!!

It was overall a good day. Not too productive, but was cool just hanging out with my son, some shopping, and finishing things off with American Idol.
