Ovulation burns calories, so whenever you stop ovulating there's the possibility of weight gain since you're burning fewer calories each month. Over time it really adds up.

If you had the hysterectomy after menopause, then I don't know. But do women get hysterectomies after menopause?

No, I didn't. Some people may. Weight gain is usually because of eating too much and not exercising.

i had one in 1993 i did,nt at first then i gained a little just watch what you eat stay a way from sodas candy fried foods if you can .
