The Beatles. They were, and may still be, the most influential pop band ever. They changed the world!
The Monkees had some good tunes but they don't even come close to the Beatles accomplishments.
Love the comparison to P&S! Very accurate.

Oh, for sure the Beatles! Although I loved the Monkees, The Beatles had such a tremendous influence on music. Some of their songs are classics, and in my heart 95% of them are! So many of my life memories when I was young are filled with the sounds and words of the Beatles! Thanks for the walk down Memory Lane and have a great week! Annie
