I need a horse trailer, but only have a Honda Odyssey and a Toyota Highlander and cant afford a truck. Are they any good? What is there average price? Do you think my cars would work? Thanks!

In my opinion, you are just asking for trouble with trying to tow a trailer of any kind with the two vehicles you have. You really need a truck for towing any kind of a heavy load. That is what they are made for. Cars are only good for a short distance with a lighter trailer. (think very small Uhaul). I do not think that you could haul your horse safely with a car or that your car would last very long under these conditions. You may want to think about trading them on for a truck. Good Luck

Brenderup trailers have a great reputation. I believe they are excellently made. But they are not cheap!!

Even with a Brenderup you will need to seriously consider weight and wheel base length before you can decide if it's safe to pull your horse with your car. Talk to someone who's experienced with horse trailers.

Good luck!

Yes they would work. You should weigh your horse(s) and look in your cars manual book and look at the maximum weight it can hold! Also weigh the trailer when you get it.
