I doubt it, because there is no such thing!
It is a tactic from the government to get more grants. In the 60's and 70's they were shouting global freezing!
Seasons change!
Can you prove global warming?
{S}
So I am supposed to believe everything I hear on the news and read on a website! Oh---I am not that gullible.
The record lows of this year are enough to prove my theory.
Yours is atheory too-what is the proof?

Sure, there's global warming. 30 years ago there was global cooling. The temperatures weren't that closely monitored over the past few thousand years, so I don't think we have a real good source of saying that this cooling and heating is out of the ordinary.
It's called fluctuations. It happens. The earth has warmed and cooled before. It could be happening faster because of us humans, but I kind of doubt it. It's more likely just a really popular headline-grabber that's making a lot of people a lot of money.

All scientific evidence shows that global warming is indeed happening. The debatable question is whether or not man is the culprit. There is even global warming currently on Mars and by last check there are no men on mars. No women on Venus as well (lol).

Of course there are.
I, on the other hand, am persuaded that the globe is warming at the present time. Since other planets are warming too, though, it seems unlikely that humans are the main cause.
The medieval warm period, when the big cathedrals were built, was warmer than it is now. This period was followed by distressing time when glaciers encroached upon farms and vineyards. Now we're getting warmer again.

I'm actually doing a cause paper on global warming for my college class. I think it's the cause for some of the things that are happening.

I doubt it highly. I am from Iowa, and endured well below-zero temps this winter. I would have gladly invited the global warming freaks here, then promptly locked them outside for about 30 minutes.
Then I would invite them in and be more than willing to listen to their spiel about how warm our globe is.

I believe we are experiencing a climate shift, but then again the world has gone through some many drastic climate shifts long before people were driving around in SUV's.

Me.... I believe in what the Bible teaches, It's all written in the book of Revelations, which basically brings up the issues that we will not be able to tell of the difference of the seasons.
