Is their anything wrong with doing a few lines of coke with a group of friends?

Whats the harm in doing a few lines of coke at a party, a few lines wouldn't kill me. I asked my cousin if he's ever tried coke and he said no, then he said, "I better not ever catch you doing coke, if I ever catch you doing coke, I will break every bone in your body." I don't she why he cares since he has done extacy in the past. He somehow believes coke is worse then extacy. Hes like, you can die the first time for doing coke. I think its the other way around. If my cousin has done X, then why would he do if I do a few lines of coke at a party.

Well, see, that's the problem. You can't say "they won't kill me" because you don't know that. Most of the time they won't, but many people do die every year from it. Sometimes you do.

Also, "doing a few lines" is the other problem. It's an addicting drug, and most people that start doing coke don't just stop. They want to keep doing it and it becomes a dangerous habit. Obviously the best way to avoid becoming addicted is to not do it.

Did you ever think that maybe your cousin is against you doing drugs even though he's done X because he regrets doing X and he got mesed up from it in some way?

If it was done just as you described, moderate amounts on special gatherings only there is really not much harm done. The problem with blow is its highly addictive quality. Some people can do it as you described, and do it consistently. Others have a switch flipped and find themselves a slave to it in a relatively short period. The problem with the first time casual user is that there is no way to tell in advance which of those people you will become. The addition has no preferences and all are subject to severely negative results. It crosses all social lines. So whatever your choice make it informed and be aware of the risks. Always do what is best for you, what others have done, or not done, is not relevant. Good luck.

Truth is you can die from Coke the first time, if you have an allergy to it, or your body rejects it. I don't know anyone personally that has died from trying it, but there is that risk. It isn't just a rumor.

What do you think about a few friends having sex with a prostitute for kicks? It is about the same thing. They are both illegal, both considered fun by different people, and both can be dangerous.

If you choose to do things like that, it is your prerogative. your cousin would just like to see you not blowing tons of cash for something that, quite frankly, is a stupid waste of money and only leaves you with a huge head ache and unable to sleep till it wears off.

People have died from both. You know, it's not just death to worry about. Permanent brain damage can result from any drugs, whether you take them once or 100 times. You just don't know if you are getting good stuff, or how you body and mind will react. I've known several people who played with drugs (from canibus to LSD) who now have permanent mental disability. It's so sad to watch someone with a bright mind turn into someone very dim with no hope of return. You have only one body and one mind for your entire life. Treat them well. You deserve the best.

Yes you can die from the first time you use cocaine. It depends on what it was cut with and all cocaine is cut to make it more profitable. Ecstasy can kill you too. Maybe you should just go to the party and have fun instead of doing drugs.
