~THE ORACLE~: Until recently, I thought everyone could ‘feel’ people’s thoughts from another room. As for the reason behind it—I think this sensitivity develops in individuals who had to compensate for an emotionally unavailable/challenged parent. Or perhaps, they lived in fear or uncertainty; hence, their ‘survival’ depended on their ability to gauge the emotions of others. Or maybe, they lacked the respect, support and validation necessary to develop strong, clear personal boundaries, which distinguish themselves from the outer world. Then again, it could be none of these or a bit of all three...or more. Whatever the reason, a greater awareness persists...and all experiences are enriched. Thus, I need to honor my limits with certain people...

If I choose to connect to them, yes. I have learned to make that choice wisely for many reasons.

Not dependent, but definitely sensitive. Temporarily "altered" perhaps? When my friends are down, I get in low gear & listen, & keep whatever adversities I might have, to myself. I can also make them laugh, when I can coax the comedy of life out of them. When it's over, it's over. (Of course I love it when they're up!) I shift gears very easily. If I were to find myself with a group of people, (very unlikely), from whom I got "negative" energy, I'd just go away. All the way around the barn to say, NO.

I never could understand why a mood ring turned blue when it was happy. Yellow would have made more sense.

It all depends on whether I care to be the one or not. If I care i make al those around me happy and not vice versa.

My mood just does it's own thing whether I want it to or not. Other people rarely have an effect on it. Unless they're a total jacka$$.
