To be honest most of the real fight is bred out of todays Betta splendens. How about not trying to get it to fight and get injured or killed for no reason but your entertainment?

A 4 gallon tank for a Betta is a perfect ecosystem! A betta calls for weekly water adjustments besides the indisputable fact that--no better than a million gallon per week. Siphon the water with a gravel purifier that you'll be able to get rid of waste from the bottom that could want to create undesirable degrees of nitrates, nitrites, ammonia, etc. you may have the favor to substantiate that your betta continues to be at a tender 75-86°F yet airation isn't mandatory. remember that a betta can bypass a lengthy time period without nutrition and underfeeding is extra efficient than overfeeding through a thoughts. a million-2 betta pellets no extra then once an afternoon is sweet. also, making particular that your nutrition is intense in protien is sweet. intense protien skill a healthful, lively, colourful betta. wish this develop into efficient! Please do not hesitate to ask the different animal appropriate questions at every time. thanks, Tidy Tanks Aquarium and puppy facilities!

Steps to take:
1. Put it in a one gallon bowl
2. Get another siamese fighting fish and keep it in another bowl.
3. Call your friends over to watch.
4. Take bets on which one wins.
5. Put the second siamese fighting fish into the bowl with your first siamese fighting fish.
6. Watch what happens.
It is that easy.

well first of all, you dont need to feed it twice, it will get fat, feed it once a day, second of all they only fight when there is another fish in the tank, otherwise theres nothing to fight with it. I had these fish all the time when i was younger (they almost all lived for 4 years) Good luck, why would you want your fich to figh tanyways?....JK....LOL

if you want your fish to fight, obviously fish keeping is not for you, yes they are called 'siamese fighting fish' but this is only a name. making these fish fight is aniaml cruelty, and if i knew you would report you to RSPCA. I strongly suggest you find a new hobby

why would you want it to fight?
it takes a lot of energy and will shorten the life of the fish if he is continually on the defensive.
itll also get him or whatever other fish seriously hurt.

Get another aquarium or small tank and buy another male. Put the tanks side-by-side. They should start to show aggressive tendencies. If not, I don't know what you can do.

don't fight it, that's cruel. if he looks bored, get a tank divider and a friend for him to flare at. or just use a mirror, bettas don't recognize themselves.
ps - I'd recommend feeding only once a day

I have to agree with Magic Man! He is one smart cookie! Why would you want them to fight? Or do you mean flare?
