Can the ADULT be a bit serious for a moment? I'm never without my inner child. I don't "let" my child out to play. My child plays at random--very winsome! There's no "control" or intellectual appropriateness. We have a beautiful, harmonious relationship. My child laughs at the competitive finches, fighting over a nest in the yucca cane, (the one with the most vivid "vest" always wins)! My child watches as the furnishings are gathered, & the mum looks with dismay if they fall through the yucca cane; my child sees faces in the bed covers, & feels the whistle of a train is a voice calling through the black velvet night. I clean the cat box, water the plants & take care of business, but my child makes me laugh every day. The very idea! LET my child out to play? Har de har!
