I would say most life on earth will end. Everything is interconnected and rely on one another.

It will be the year 2525. Humans will be mostly robotic and live in huge dome-like cities since there will be no more viable atmosphere. Everything will be man-made and there will be no more nature (at today's level anyways). A breeding permit will be required for those wanting to procreate. Strange green men will be our overlords. "In the year 2525, If man is still alive, If woman can survive, They may find"

All life on land will also die. It's part of an ecosystem. It's in balance. Kill the oceans and you kill the land.
