It sounds like moving out would be good for you on many levels. But you are wise to think about the long range picture.
That's a lot of debut. Especially if you aren't locked into a career that's going to pay well right out of college. Perhaps you have another option. Maybe you can rent a room from a family near the college. Lots of people do that who live in a college town.
Or perhaps you can find a group of students who are looking for a roommate. Dorms are expensive because they are all inclusive, meals, utilities, etc.
If you are willing to give up having a computer at home, luxuries like a cell phone or DSL, cable tv, having a car to drive, etc. you can reduce your living expenses dramatically, and maybe you can move away to college without too much debt.
Contact your financial aid office at your college to find out where to get a good student loan. You want a subsidized loan if possible, because that won't need to be paid back until you leave school. There's no interest until then, either.
Be sure you've filed a FAFSA www.fafsa.ed.gov and for any state grants available. If you meet the family income caps many states have grants to pay tuition, so you can concentrate on the housing issue.
Good luck!

You should apply for Federal Loans. That is where you need to start first. You can apply online at www.fafsa.org (I think) Search FAFSA and you will find it. FAFSA stands for Free Application For Student Aid. Now, this will not cover your full cost of your tuition. It will only cover a portion. And you will have to have your parents help you with this...you will need there 2006 tax info and yours. After you do this and see what you qualify for, you can apply for other loans such as Sallie Mae or Mohela. There are many out there, you just need to find the right one. As far as payment options go, you will have to start paying your loans back 6 months after your last day of attendance. Some loans also accrue interest while you are in school and some defer it until you are out of school. Good luck with everything, and remember...engage in your passion and realize your dreams! This educational opportunity is for you! Don't let others be dream killers!

Ok, this is a tough question. My opinion is, that you should decide who your'e living for, you should most definitely honor your parents, however, if you sit stagnate to long you all will be stuck like that, so somebody has to have will enough to go out there and face the "worlds" like a male, and try to help as many as possible on the way. The world is growing bigger by the day (physically) and mentally more simple, so yous guys need to simplify your thoughts and think big, with every endeavor, make a routine doing what you want to do for the rest of your life all the time. Me I study, compute, rest, eat, play, and love.

Honestly there would be more distractions on campus than what you are describing at home. Campus life is very, very distracting. Just trust me on that. Plus, you would be saving a buttload of money by staying at home and not paying for housing. If you can save on student loans, do it! As for loans, there are stafford loans...all sort of student loans out there. Plus you may qualify for TAP or PELL grants. Good luck!

Stay home. College life isn't quiet and study friendly. You're going to have more distractions...not less. Ask your family to gove you the space you need to get your work done. Shut the door and do your work. Colleges make enough money off of us.

WoW! someone with a similar Issue like the one I have. but Ive got an answer for mine just not one for the right university.
I'd think that you should be the Judge of what you do.and maybe you should let your parents hear your side. I did exactly that and they understood and + like me $$ means nothing if you cant do Good in school/University.
As long as your an adult its your choice to make decisions!

Try to find a job on campus. Learn to love the library. Find some campus clubs and organziations to join. That will minimize the time you need to spend at home.
