Ok..I've posted this before, and while I got a lot of kind responses I never really got what I was looking for..so I'll ask again. The thing is I have what is called a hypnofetish. I get turned on by seeing attractive people hpnotized and being hypnotized myself. IT started about a year ago after volunteering for this x rated hypnotist in my sorority. The whole thing felt veyr relaxing and very erotic. The show was of an erotic bent, meaning we did a lot of nasty stuff like give head to lolipops and have an orgasm from a foot rub or "orgasm gun" After this show I've been incredibly turned on by hypnosis and am worried that I might have messed myself up sexually..or something. Anyway..what I want to know is am I normal..or what. I still get turned on by normal sex, just hypnosis really gets me hot...My BF thinks im stupid..so..yeah..what should I do.

This is a really common fetish, and I've seen so many people post similar questions on YA, both men and women.
I think it is very harmless; I guess there is an element of being turned on by the idea of being controlled, or controlling others.
It's a shame your bf thinks it is stupid, because you could do some roleplay together.

I think fetishes are great! I have a couple that my wife knows of and actually even indulges in certain ways (and vice versa). It's a shame that your boyfriend thinks it's weird though. I don't see you as "weird" at all. It's not like your fetish is some disgusting thing, ya know? If anything, your boyfriend should be giving you cool points for being open to something other than just regular sex! I have studied many different types of fetishes for about 10 years now but this one is new to me! Something for me to look up! Thanks! And I really hope you can find a way to bring your guy in on it somehow. Hopefully he can open his mind and play along. Maybe get him hypnotized in the same way so he can see what it's all about!

I'm not sure if some people would call it a fetish, but tons of people like to fantasize about hypnotism. It is basically just that either the ability to control or to lose control depending on your person preference. Pretty normal stuff.
I bet if your boyfriend could be the hypnotist, he would change his point of view pretty quickly, of course he probably wouldn't be to thrilled if you are going to give up control to someone else.

People have many fetishes. It is what you find exciting. I am sure we could even called masturbation a fetish if one really chose to.
I think you should except the fact that as you go through life different things will turn you on. As long as you have a healthy sex life and are not doing anything you are ashamed of, go for it!
Your boyfriend should consider himself lucky that he has a very hot lover who is open to trying different things.

Try watching people get hypnotyzed until the fetish goes away.Kind of like desensitizing it.

all this just sounds is like you get off by having someone control you. not a big deal, lots of people like to control or be controlled in that way.
