It had to be Edge. He was angry that he didn't win at Backlash, and he didn't want HBK to get a chance at the WWE championship. Cena would never stoop that low to attack HBK, Cena has never backed down from a challenge and he would never take out someone before facing them.

I heard that Cena is turning heel, so that could be a possibility. But, I think it was Edge.
