They merely have a large audience for spewing their views and they feel entitled (nay, obligated!) to do so.

They don't have special insight, they just have an audience that cares about what they think. Everyone has insight .. but not everyone has the time, money, or resources to make their opinions known.

You know that they *really* don't! It's just that so many of them (especially the most arrogant socialists and America-haters among them) have such inflated egos that they believe they can solve *all* political and scientific problems, just as long as they don't have to pay for the solutions out of their own pockets! (You know, like withdrawing our troops from Iraq and letting the enemy know when and the *bogus* "science" (by "consensus") of Global Warming!)

i'm a purist, i do in comparison to tomatoes in my sandwich. Sliced tomatoes on the edge is high quality. I want tomato soup with my grilled cheese sandwich. Cheese and tomato soup sounds disgusting. purely me, in spite of the indisputable fact that. I even have some extraordinary food prejudices.

Probably the same reason so many brain-dead people are experts on the same subjects. In particular the ones flaming THEIR ANSWERS!!!!

You mean like Bono, who has traveled extensively to Africa, and worked with leaders all over the world to alleviate debt and improve conditions there? Gosh. I don't know. Maybe because he's actually out there, seeing things first hand, and trying to make a difference, instead of sitting at home posting smug questions on Yahoo! answers.....
