I always seem to have dreams about tides coming and trying to drown me. It's very scary! My dream can start out good or bad, and somehow, an ocean tide always gets in there and I almost drown. I had one the other night, and I seem to have them constantly. I LOVE water. It doesn't make any sense. I've been told by a phsycic and by friends that it might be linked to a past life. I don't even care what it is at this point! I just want these cold sweat, fast heartbeat nightmares to stop! They're very stressful and confusing and after I have a dream about it, I think about it all day like "WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!" =(

Quite a few, I was sleeping on the beach and the tide creeped up on me and tried to drown me. I seem to almost drown to death, and then I usually get away.

Some are like that, but in other dreams, the tides are actually CHASING after me, or the water rises very quickly and there's no way to escape.

Please help. =/
This is driving me INSANE!

i think water represents your emotional state, when the waves are crashing on you it could mean that your emotions are very high and overwhelming. if you almost drown in the water then it could mean that you are "drowning" in your emotions. saving yourself at the last moment could suggest that you have just a small advantage of your emotional state. sounds like you have some emotional stuff you need to work out.
